So they permitted to train other Mediterranean Navy officers and provided the officers with Panerai Gears. After the training session is over, some of the officers brought the Panerai gears back to Egypt.The quality amazed Egyptian military authority so they requested Officine Pneraito develop a stronger and indestructible diving watch. Thus, the “Egiziano” was born! The Egiziano is very rare. Only 50 pieces were made. Prototype “3” is made to model the 50 Egiziano prototypes' straps. It looks and feels like a real prototype strap of vintage Panerai. With the handwritten “3” number, it becomes not only an ordinary strap.
